Tingley Tigers vs Hunslet Under 7’s

1st Game Score 5 – 5

The Tigers gave an impressive performance in warmer that expected weather, with 3 goals in the first half from Aaron Hammond (our Hat Trick Hero), including a rocket of a goal into the top left hand corner by Aiden Langley. Tingley Tigers were winning by 4 goals to 3 at half time, there was a change of goal keepers at half time with Finnlay Dodd dropping back from defence into the nets to replace Jamie Haigh. Rian Appleyard also replaced Jack Murray in defence. Hunslet managed to find the back of our nets to make the score 4 all after the new keeper Finnlay Dodd made three brilliant saves, but could not get his hands to the fourth attempt. Aiden Langley then scored once again to make the score 4 – 5 to put the Tigers in the lead. The score finished at 5 all with an excellent string of passes form Hunslet.

Man of the Match – Thomas Heald (for brilliant footwork).

2nd Game Score 1 – 2

Aaron Hammond played in goals for this second game and pulled off numerous great saves, there was a string of good passes from Oliver Appleyard, Finnlay Dodd and Thomas Heald to punt the ball up front to enable Aiden Langley to score his first goal. Then a foul on Aiden Langley by Hunslet in the second half gave Tigers a free kick, which seemed to float straight into the back of the net after a perfect strike by Aiden Langley.

Man of the Match – Aaron Hammond (for excellent goal keeping).
